Much time has passed since our Fairfield Visioning. Please attend the next RP Civic meeting, Thursday, June 4th at 7:30 PM in the VFW Hall.

Pardon my confusion, but I attended the charette on fairfield a few years ago and they agreed to give us all these great community benefits in excess of millions of dollars. In exchange, we would agree to allow them to increase the building density. It seemed like a great trade off especially when I reread this article from a few years ago: http://www.rpalumni.org/rpcivic/pdf/suna05_03_03_2006.pdf
But today it seems the sentiment has changed. I received a communication from the people at north shore beach that Fairfield wants to put in section 8. and 300+ units, 60 more units than what was stated in the above sun article. Has fairfield rewritten their agreement? Or are people just panicing? Where can we get all the correct facts on this deal? I'd like to see some recent written documentation. Id like to see an accurate list of pros and cons so I can make an informed opinion. I trust Rich Johanneson.
Also can we arrange the deeds of these new homes so that they have mandator NSB membership? 239 new members would be nice.
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!

I think the community was pretty clear tonight at the meeting: WE DON'T NEED IT.... WE DON'T WANT IT!
